C-X-C motif chemokine 1 (CXCL1)

CXCL1 is a chemokine that upon binding to its receptor CXCR2 elicits chemotactic activity on neutrophils and among others is involved in inflammatory response. CXCL1 has been described to be involved in several inflammation-related diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease, systemic lupus erythematosus, E. coli-associated renal inflammation, etc.
